You can do promotional or giving away promotional items. With this, you can attract also lots of customers and it will also serve as a walking advertisement on your part(the promotional items)

New and catchy gimmicks works well too. Often customers would remember that, and remember your business, thus gaining a new one.

True, you have to gain the confidence of your buying public before you can expect any results. The other day I made a large sale due to the fact that that lady knew my name and my history.
It was nice to hear her say that.

Yeah, you need to get your customers to trust you as they as they are so many scammers out there which makes them skeptical. Giving away free stuff will definitely help.

Giving free stuff surely increases your products’ “trialability” – that is, when the free stuff are samples of your product. It has been posited that one of the factors that influence the adoption of a product perceived as new to the customer is the degree to which they can try using the product. Giving free samples of the product should be one among your sales promotion tools. This will give your potential customers a chance to experience your product and if the experience is favorable, then you have a long-term customer.
Cheers!
